Thanksgiving Food Baskets
Christmas Gift Baskets for Families
Each year our Council purchases and distributes over eight tons of food to over 200 families
Special needs teens and preteens are invited to a dance party just for them. Lots of food, good music, and fun. You have to see it to believe how much fun the kids have at the dances.
Special Needs Fun Night
At Christmas time each year we prepare of a list of families needing Christmas gifts and then ask our parishioners to purchase gifts suitable for that family’s children based on age range and gender. This way each child receives a gift just for them.
Habitat for Humanity
We work with Habitat in a number of ways each year.
Fund Raising
During Lent, we Catholics are not supposed to eat meat on Fridays. So, each Friday, the excellent cooks in our Council prepare a delicious supper featuring a variety of seafood dishes. Fish taco anyone? We serve about 100 families on a typical night and, by the way, we have gotten very, very good at this.

Can’t make it to the Kentucky Derby? Well dress up anyway and we will make you feel like you are in a guest box. Mint Juleps are available.

Put on your tuxedo and help us operation our perfectly legal casino complete with your favorite gambling tables and cash bar.

Once a year we participate in the national “Tootsie Roll Fund Drive” to raise money for special needs projects.

Facilities Upkeep
We are one of the few councils that have their own building. It was purchased by the council and completely overhauled soon after that. Each year council members volunteer to do regular maintenance and improvements.
